Introducing Trunell's Mosaic Kits: Now with Pre-Nipped Tile Option! Our Mosaic Kits offer everything you need to create stunning mosaic designs. Each kit includes all the tiles, inserts, glue, grout, and a wooden blank to bring your chosen mosaic project to life. We provide enough tiles to complete the mosaic, and any leftover bits can be saved for future creations. Each ceramic tile is meticulously handmade, painted, and glazed before being fired at approximately 1100°C. To achieve your desired shapes and sizes for the mosaic, the tiles are not pre-nipped. For basic mosaic nipping, we recommend using a wheel nipper. However, adding a flat-mouth nipper can assist with more precise cutting and shaping of the tiles, although it is not essential. We understand that not everyone enjoys the nipping process or may struggle with it. Therefore, we now offer the option to order our kits with pre-nipped tiles. These tiles are nipped to a smaller size as shown in the pictures, making it easier for you to fit them together. While this option eliminates the need for extensive nipping, having a tool such as a mosaic nipper on hand can still be beneficial for fine-tuning the tiles and achieving specific shapes. Please note that our kits are assembled on order, especially the larger ones, so it may take a day or two to prepare them for shipment. We strive to deliver as soon as possible (we know you can't wait to start), but there might be instances where we are temporarily out of stock with tiles that need to be made. Therefore, we recommend placing your order well in advance for large quantities or gifts.
