The oil tile cutter is utilized to score glass or ceramic tiles where you intend to cut. It is excellent for cutting strips of tiles, and squares, or accurately halving squares for borders. This tool works seamlessly with the cutting board and breaker; you score the tiles on the cutting board and then break them by placing the score between the breaker 'wings'. With practice, you can also use the oil cutter to score curves and other shapes like petals freehand. Fill the tool with sewing machine oil, and it will last for years.
