I will be hosting a Zoom mosaic class where I will teach you how to cut
flowers, roses, and leaves from handmade ceramic tiles.
During
the first session, I will guide you through each step of creating your
project, demonstrating the cutting techniques for each flower and leaf. I
will provide feedback and give you time between flowers to practice and
refine your skills. You will learn about the different tools to use for
each type of flower, and I'll also demonstrate some optional tools that
can enhance your mosaic projects. While these tools are not required
for the class, they may be worth considering for future projects.
This
class is suitable for all skill levels, although the focus will
primarily be on creating the flowers and not the background.
Since
completing your projects within the three-hour class may not be
feasible, you will have the flexibility to continue working on your own
time. In a second short session, we will reconvene to showcase our work,
address any challenges you may have encountered, and discuss the
grouting process. If you'd like, you can even grout your project
alongside me during the session.
Upon booking the class, I will
provide you with a comprehensive list of materials needed for the first
session, including the required tools and the grouting materials
necessary for the second session. Additionally, there is an option to
choose a kit that includes all the materials. If you opt for the kit,
you can let me know if you prefer different colors for the flowers to
suit your personal taste.
The cost for the two Zoom sessions will be
R250, or R945 if you wish to include the kit. To book just click on the quick view option below and choose with or without kit. Once I receive your
booking and payment, I will send the kit to the adress you provide (not grey area) or the nearest Pudo. If
you'd like to use the kit, please book well in advance to allow ample
time for kit preparation and shipping
Additionally,
in case of unexpected events like load shedding or other circumstances
preventing you from attending the class, there's no need to worry. All
classes will be recorded, and within 48 hours, all participants will
receive a link to access the recording for your own personal use only.
This way, you can rewatch the class at your convenience and not miss out
on any valuable content. Your learning experience is important to me,
and I want to ensure that you have the flexibility to engage with the
material even if you can't attend the llive session.
