for an online mosaic class using Zoom.

In this class, you will have the opportunity to create a mosaic using various objects such as a wine bottle, a ceramic planter, a round ball(cement or polystyreen), a wooden board, or even a stepping stone, all using the same technique.
To participate in this class, you will need a base to work on, a wheeled nipper to cut your tiles, the appropriate adhesive, and a variety of tiles in different shapes, sizes and colours. Additionally, you can enhance your design by incorporating small ceramic inserts like flowers, ovals, buttons, triangles, beads, and more. I will guide you on cutting the tiles and building interesting patterns, the easiest way to add beads, and how to avoid the common pitfalls.

During the first session, I will provide guidance to get you started on your project. Since most projects will not be completed within the three-hour class, you will have the flexibility to continue working on your own time once you understand how to cut your tiles into squares, triangles, etc. This allows you to continue working at your own pace, without the pressure of finishing within a specific time frame.
In a second short session, we will gather to showcase our work and discuss any issues or challenges that may have arisen. I will also demonstrate the grouting process, and if you wish, you can grout your project alongside me.

Upon booking the class, I will send you a comprehensive list of materials required for the first session, as well as the necessary grouting materials for the second session.
If you are new to mosaic art and do not have any supplies yet, I can curate a selection of tiles for you and arrange for them to be couriered to your location, or you can place an order online for the tiles and colors of your choice.
Additionally, in case of unexpected events like load shedding or other circumstances preventing you from attending the class, there's no need to worry. All classes will be recorded, and within 48 hours, all participants will receive a link to access the recording for your own personal use only. This way, you can rewatch the class at your convenience and not miss out on any valuable content. Your learning experience is important to me, and I want to ensure that you have the flexibility to engage with the material even if you can't attend the live session.

Participants will receive a link to the recorded session within 48 hours after the class, which will be available for personal use only.
